Heceta Head Lighthouse

Downloaded a bunch of scenery from OzX, which included this. Heceta Head Lighthouse is one of the most beautiful in the world and it and the Lighthouse Keepers house are on the National Register. Both circa 1894. Located 13 miles north of Florence, OR. Scenery by Brad Allen.

The scenery includes more birds than I have ever seen in FS, three Orca whales and at least two pods of Dolphin. There is also a nice log cabin just above the beach with a bush plane out front. I want somebody to download this scenery and tell me how the heck to land there, 'cause I could not do it.

Yeah, light houses are cool. I'd love to own one in a really good location. Make a nice summer retreat. And I'm fairly certain sea Captains loved them back in the day.

Wonder how much beach there is at low tide?  He could land diagonally or do one of those water ski things on big tires  :D.

[color=#000000]I figured it out. You have to come in east to west at right angles to the beach and then land to the north. I did in a Beaver and it was not really that hard. Still can't do it north to south yet, but I'm happy with the other.

a Beaver is out of the question
Just aim it at the beach, it'll slow down when it hits the sand  :D.
