Fantastic shot Shane! I shall nominate it!

And thanks for reminding me about this wonderful aircraft, I had it in my FS9 installation but completely forgot about it when I installed FSX. Hopefully it will work. :-*

Thanks Christian!  :)

I'm love the payware quality in a freeware package, I just wish I could keep the engines going without blowing them up.  :-[  ;D  ;)

I'm interested in this but not sure what to download on that page. Does it work for FSX?

There are 4 links at the top of that page, just under the banner, one for each kind of plane they have.
Click on the one you want, and it will go to that planes download page.
For the plane in my shot, you would go here: http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/bac_1-11.htm

Once there, you will need to decide which model of that plane you want, and then also download the panel & sound sets for it.

For the one in my shot, you will need the following files from that page:
111_400_20061001.zip
111_PANEL_20061031.zip
111_SOUND_20061001.zip

Only the Comet model was designed with FSX in mind, but they should all work in FSX for the most part.

For installing them into FSX see this page :

Did you mean 111_400_20061001.zip. Just being sure I got the right one. Don't see "40".

The planes from David Maltby work fine in FSX SP2, in DirectX9 mode.
There might be some issue with some canopy textures transparency, but I'm not even sure.
I know there might be a problem with the engine starter gauges though. all the rest works fine. The BAC and the Comet are my favorites, the Trident is excellent as well. The last one, I don't recall the name, doesn't have a VC, so I haven't downloaded it.

And yes, once more, excellent shot Shane ;)

I finally got around to installing this plane. I'm installing it in FSX. I read the instructions but it is unclear for the FSX version. The download came with installers. I noticed that when the installer got to the part where I chose the target folder, it points to FS9 main directory. I'm not sure if I put it in FSX main directory or point to the simobjects folder for the aircraft files. Are these installers meant to point at the main directory or do I point to the respective folders?

No, NEVER, NEVER EVER install something directly into the FSX main folder !
The installer was made for FS9, it will try to place the files into \aircrafts folder, which of course does not exist in FSX.

Install it to a temp folder, like c:\temp\fs9.
Then once you have installed everything, transfer manually all the files to the corresponding folders in FSX.
