I used VSO Image Resizer (the free one) and Easy Graphics Converter 1.2 (free) when I was using XP. VSO converts the screenshot to a bitmap. I then used the converter to convert to a jpeg. I used Howie's Funware Screen Capture Tool to get the screenie. Now, I use the Snipping Tool under Windows 7 to get the image (cropped as I like it during the capture) and it's captured as a jpeg, so it's very convenient. If I have to downsize, I still use VSO...
I am homebrewer. I had 633 posts when for some unknown reason, my account disappeared...
