The first shot is new today, the last two were taken several weeks ago, I played with the settings in BD Sizer and FSX settings to see what I could do to make the shots more interesting.

Rather than try to maneuver the image around the shot, I try to visualize what I want - plane, sky, scenery wise then widen it out with the '-' key to allow for cropping.

Great job on those shots Doug. The second one is my favorite

Just one thing though: try to vary the position and the distance of the plane on the shot.
Sometimes closer, sometimes more distant, view from above like in your shots, or view from below, stuff like that. Carefull with the plane you choose for close shots, you need good details and paints
