Display of creativity

Following a thread in the FS2004 forum led me to discover something I had not seen before.

The developer created a visual model of one plane that looks like a formation of planes.

The package has a few issues. One is an auto-installer, which I dislike.

Two, it appears they did not include any of the non-standard gauges.

Three, the documentation is all in Spanish, not a problem for some, I can't read it.

That being said, it has potential. It desperately needs a smoke system. And gauges, smaiges, who needs stinking gauges.

It's here in the library, filename - C-101_Aviojet.zip

Here is a direct download link - http://www.simviation.com/simviation/do ... hp?ID=7589

If you try it out, fly from spot plane and cycle the gear. Also deploy full flaps, F8 and F5, not sequential flaps.

Happy flying!

cheers,
Joe

.....now where did I leave those spare smoke emitters?

The original thread is in the AI forum, till it gets moved

Hmm...could lead to interesting results with FSRecorder. :)

The only 1 MAJOR MAJOR problem that I see in your screenshots..... the "ai" followers, have no landing gear when sitting on the ground! they are hovering.   :-/ not too good for my taste.

Now, if there were a program that would duplicate whatever aircraft you are in (not just the C-101_Aviojet, but rather, if i am in a 747 and started the program then i would see 7 other 747's in formation with me, or F14's... Cessna 172's... you get the idea.... THAT would be the program to have; think about THAT with FSRecorder or FRAPS....

airshow of 747's flying like the Thunderbirds, IN Thunderbird skins.   :o :-? [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Yes Mark Beaumont did this with the Red Arrows.
The wingmen are animated to some degree - formation change, fly inverted etc.
For FS2002 originally but updated and one of FS's all-time great packages.
