Cessna T-50 Bobcat
Cessna's first light twin, the Bobcat was built in 1939 as a five seat commercial transport. Construction was typical for the type at the time using wood for the wings and tail and a welded steel tube frame covered with light plywood and fabric for the fuselage .This low wing fully cantilevered monoplane featured electric flaps and retractable landing gear.Power was provided by two Jacobs radial engines. More than five thousand were built in many variations and for several countries. During the second world war the U. S. military used the aircraft under the designation AT-17.
