Hi folks... :)

Hope I have the settings right, I set it at 150 in BD Sizer.

One of the hardest things to do with a float aircraft or seaplane is docking.

The quality of those shots is definitely better than your previous shots. However, your shots are only in 800x600. Remember the allowed size here at Simv goes up to 1024 wide ;)
What is this BD sizer, by the way ?
To resize and set my JPEG compression, I use the freeware program PAINT.NET. I resize the shot to the appropriate dimensions, and then I click "Save As", I select the JPEG format, and when I press OK a popup appears with a slider to choose the exact compression ratio, showing the resulting file size. It's very easy to use :)

I find BD Sizer very easy to use once you've set it up as you want it. Try setting the longest side to 1024 in the Resizing section. It's possible to type this in the box. You might also like to experiment with the Resize Method. There are 3 different options. Unless you particularly want the default copyright notice on your resized images remove it by unchecking all the Additional Operations option boxes. Preview the result before saving it.

This is how I have BD Sizer set up for this job. http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/da-bdsize1.jpg
This is the result. http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/da__MG_9663.JPG

PS. For comparison this is the same image processed in Paint.NET http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/da_MG_9663pnet.jpg

With my highest possible screen resolution set at 1280 X 1024 X 32, I normally reduce all my screen shots, photos, etc, to a maximum of 900 Pixels wide to prevent having to scroll the Thread window sideways to view the contents of the whole page, including all text.
The increased width of the margins in the latest versions of the YaBB Forum page reduces the available width of the page for screen shots, photographs, etc!

One of the reasons why I don/t spend too much time browsing the Screen Shot threads!... :'(...!

Flying Trucker's screen shots at 800 Pixels wide fit my screen perfectly, and include all its text!... :-*...!

Paul... :)...!

Thanks all will try another shot to see what I can do in BDSizer as that seems to be the easiest program to use for me.   :)
