Dawn flight in De Havilland 1947 DHC-2 Beaver
Light utility aircraft better known as the half-ton truck of bush aircraft even though the useful load with a Pratt & Whitney R-985 producing 450 HP was 2100 lbs.
Most bush pilot's started their days in the early morning dawn prior to the fog rolling in and flew until sunset.
Fuelled and leaving Ketchikan.
Level at 400 feet.
Dawns charm.
This is the valley.
Calm and cool morning air.
Enjoy and comments and advice most welcome.
Just noticed "Dawns charm" that I forgot to hit the Alt Button...odd did not notice it before.
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
