Howdy I was landing at Perth (YPPH) runway 21 and my right main gear collapsed on me and so it looked like a good entry for the contest. I managed to get her off the runway and avoid the dreaded crash re-start.

Looks like more than your gear would be gone, your engine would rip off, maybe start a fire and that whole wing will disintegrate and the plane would just crash completely

In other words it would look like this:

wasnt flight sim 2002 the first one without a damage model?

Actually FS2004 has it, you just need to enter this line in the aircraft cfg under each repaint:

visual_damage=1

Now go fly by a building so that the wing goes through and watch your wing magically fall off! 

Psychic connection - prophetic in light of the United incident at Newark today.. though admittedly the engine didnt go below terrain and disintegrate the aircraft
