Well, I have a tale for you.
In a race, the quickest runner can never overtake the slowest, since the pursuer must first reach the point whence the pursued started, so that the slower must always hold a lead.

The lovely C152 (or is it a 170?) starts 1 mile before the beautiful, luxurious citation.
"I'll pass you in moments", said the pilot of the Citation...
"No", said the tortoise pilot of the 152.
...
The Citation passed half a mile in moments... And the 152 moved a few feet... And the Citation passed a few hundreds of feet... While the 152 passed another few feet...

And the citation never passed the 152!  :P
