I am really sorry for posting a shot twice, and I know that I must read the RULES better before getting carried away. :(
I hope I can be forgiven as I am just a screenshot startup.

I may be in error, but, being that the Mooney comes standard with FSX, doesn't that make it 'payware'?

Jus' wonderin'........

Well........if ya boosted FSX from the store, then I s'pose it's freeware. ;D

But it looks like the "rules" state that it has ta be freeware screen-cature stuff.

So this one's lookin' to be legal.

The term "payware" refers to the high quality addons for FS series that you can buy online such as REX (real enviroment extreme)
Freeware is all the addons you can download free on SimV or other freeware sites. Although you get good quality freeware as well, so not that freeware have to stand back for payware.
If you count the standard FSX you paid for in the shop as payware, there would be no freeware section - or then only for Flightgear :-) So rest assure, I think 99% of the guys posting in the freeware section has paid for their Sims  ;)

I guess I should've asked directly....are aircraft that come with FSX and Acceleration considered payware? :-?

Soooooo, is aircraft that came standard with FSX and Acceleration consifdered payware or not?

Guess I should've been a little more with my query/generalization.

Anything that came with one of the basic flightsim packages (FSX Normal/Deluxe/Gold/Acceleration, FS2004, FS2002, FS2000, FS98 as well as CFS series) is considered freeware.
Any aircraft you legally downloaded for free from the web is considered freeware.

Only aircraft (or scenery) you had to pay for (without counting the base packages) is considered payware, and is not allowed in this competition.

8-)
