Since Shane made me aware of Global Terrain mesh, my flights in areas with default scenery
have become much, much more enjoyable, not to mention areas where I have added

enhanced scenery, photoreal etc. I can't remember everyone who has helped me directly, but

many of you have helped me indirectly as well, simply by posting shots of various aircraft,

scenery, enhancements that I was able to acquire. These have made my FS experience at least

ten times as nice as default. This is just one of the things that make SimV one of the best and
most enjoyable places in the world. Thank you all.

I recently downloaded some small GA airports placed around the Zurich area. It seems that the benefit of
Global Terrain mesh in this area is more noticible than other places.

I searched for Switzerland scenery and came up with these gems from http://files.fsnordic.net/Flight_Simula ... itzerland/

Andreas Hegi's Hausen am Albis (LSZN) Switzerland, near Zug, which I have yet to get to work.

Andreas Hegi's Luzern-Beromunster (LSZO) Switzerland.

Bruno Zurmuehle's Buttwil (LSZU) Switzerland.

Andreas Hegi's Samedan, Switzerland, LSZS @ 5600' elevation, near St. Moritz, is the highest airfield in Europe.

If you add LSZS, I advise caution on your first approach.
The winds can be very tricky, even on a fair day.

SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THE REAL LSZS:
It's located in the south east of Switzerland on 1787m or 5600ft. (N46* 31.88'; E9* 52.84').
It's a regional airport in the beautiful winter and summer sport holiday region Engadin,
close to the famous place St. Moritz. It's an important base of the national air rescue organisation REGA and the
helicopter base of HELIBERNINA.
There are no navigation aids available, just VFR (good luck!).

Thanks for looking.
:)

Glad to see you enjoy the Switzerland :)
Overall, this is the country where I spend most of my time in FS.
On the page you have linked, to not forget to download and install the Switzerland Landclass, filename ebch3tot.zip. It will definitely improve the scenery.

Note for FSX user: ebch3tot.zip is recommended also for you. Although it's a FS9 landclass (less precise than FSX landclasses), it's a very neat improvement over the default Switzerland. In fact, it's one of the very first sceneries I have installed in my FSX. ;)
