Stingrays aren't slimy - they are quite rough

(I recently was in an aquarium where you can stroke sharks and stingrays)

The whole thing makes me think of a frog.
It would be extremely easy to put a frog face on the nose and it already has the tail of a tadpole.

Great job, I think it looks fine as is, though if you do adjust the alpha add a small bit more, and make it have a greenish reflection and that *SHOULD* get you that "slimey/wetter" look
