A rather unique approach pattern...

More or less, straight down...

Cut engines to idle at 60,000, deployed speed brake.  Slowed to about 60 KIA all the way down to about 30 K, dropped to around 20-25 KIAS at 10,000.  Had to nose down just a bit to get a little airspeed, since it started to flutter at that speed. Deployed landing gear at 5000, full flaps at 3000, applied a wee bit of thrust at about 500 AGL to get her up to 180 KIAS, then cut and let it settle down.

Like a glove.  

Well, sort of.

At least I did land on the airport even if I missed the runway.  I'm sure they can fix the holes that I left in those hangers....  :P
