Excellent...

I hope you have a nice 6-Cylinder Engine Sound installed under the Cowling!...;)...!

Something I didn't realise...>>>

Quote:
"The Pawnee is a single engined low-wing monoplane constructed of steel tubing and covered with fabric. The emphasis of this design was on pilot safety with the fuselage structure designed to collapse progressively during a low speed crash, typically experienced during crop spraying operation".
End Quote.

I always thought they were of; "all aluminium" construction!

An interesting "Low and Slow" model!... ;)...!

(...got one in my Hangar!)...;)...!

Paul....G-BPLF...FS 2004... 8-)...!

Crop Spraying: Always a dangerous/deadly occupation, together with the ever danger of low altitude crashes, and inhaling the lethal insecticides during the work!

I'm glad you're enjoying the repaint.  :)

She looks good on your system too. 8-)

This plane is an absolute joy to fly, very smooth and predictable.

...puny little engine!... :-[.... :P...!

..... ;D...!

I did a special search for a suitable 6-Cylinder engine sound for my Piper Pawnee... :)...!

Most aircraft seem to be aliased to the Lycoming/Continental flat 4-cylinder engines!
6-Cylinder Motors are hard to come by... ;D...!

Paul....with a Vertical Twin Motor....8-)...!

Here Paul, I can't locate a 6 cylinder Lycoming, but they did stick the 4 in the Pawnee, so I guess I'm not that far off in my shorcut:

"Initial production version fitted with a 150hp Lycoming O-320 engine. 800lb payload. "

I fitted the Lycoming 6-cylinder, O-540 in mine...no expense spared!....>>>

I like growling, 6-Cylinders!.... ;D...!

Paul... ;D...!

I might stick one in the nose of my Cessna 150...and put a weight in the Tail to balance it out!...;)...!
