Carrier landing off the coast of Anchorage, Alaska.



This is my first entry into the screenshot contest, so creatively criticize away!

I like it but i'd rather see something like your signature like a takeoff or on landing the wheels touching down

An okay shot just kinda boring.

The shot is terrific, takes some skill to set a bug down on a carrier.  I would have moved the angle around a bit, so we can see maybe the height of the hook or main gear just off the deck or even on touch down.  

That's how I would have shot the pic, but you still have a competitor here!  Welcome to the comp!

I agree, kinda' boring.
I just paused it in a few places throughout the landing, and took a bunch of pics. Later, I picked the best one.
Is this a good method?
And, yes it does take a lot of skill to put this 24,700 lb supersonic bird down on a deck that appears to be the size of a postage stamp; only the Navy's best can do it! 8-)
I thought the mountains looked cool in this pic, and I kinda' liked the angle, I'll try to do better next month!

P.S. You really think I have a "shot" at it?
