Trying out the missions in FSX,  got this far in the Amazon mission, until one of those snake statues fell on my plane killing all aboard.  :-[

Loads of fun though, almost like a video game, with slightly less heroic goals.  ;D ;D ;)

The missons are good fun and very entertaining. I would say my favourite would have to be the Jet Truck Drag Race, always good for a laugh. :D

FSWC has settings for all of the missions, and this is Muddy Amazon Brown.

Looks great from the air. ;)

Also, if I'm not mistaken, when it rains FSX turns the rivers water to brown/green...

Very nice shot ShaneG. I did that mission once. I can tell you that even if you manage to take off, this will just be the beginning of the most difficult phase of the mission.  8-)

Wow.  I never knew that the missions in FSX were hazardous!  Sounds almost like an actual video game instead of a sim.  But I like that aspect of it.  Maybe FSX for random fun and FS9 for serious flying.  And then FlightGear for the advancements in simming . . . ;)

Actually there are some of the missions that have some interesting twists in the scenario, but the flying remains always realistic.
For example, after you manage to takeoff from this place, you'll have to fight against terrible weather and engine problems.

I don't really know why you should switch back to FS9 for "serious" flying  :-?
