Just felt like doing a short flight today.
And ended up with a flight from LHR to a remote airport more north in Britain.
My Airbus 321-231 parked at the gate with "The Big Boys": British Airways B772ER, American Airlines B772ER and and British Airways B744.

Lifting off from the runway in soupy fog. Singaporean whale in the background

At cruising altitude of FL70. Great indeed! This was just before the extreme turbulence started. The turbulence went on through the entire flight. 25 minutes of bumping, bumping and more bumping :S

Isn't it always fun when you're less than 10 nm from the runway and you still can't see it?

Safely down. Couldn't see the runway before I landed heavily on it though.

Parked at the gate, about to disembark.

Tomorrow will be my Last-Day-As-A-12-Year-Old-Flight: ENGM to GCTS. Aircraft: MyTravel A330-300. Weather conditions will be: Clear at ENGM like it was on our flight to Tenerife and cloudy at GCTS when we were about to land there. (Circling the island was fun! We did so because there was some turbulence and we had to reach the correct runway. My mom snapped some ubercool shots of Teide on our descent!)
