What would you do?
Ok, so I have FSX and Acceleration installed and a fresh install of XP and everything is set up EXACTLY as NickN as specified.
I fire up FSX for the first time, no addons at all. I don't even go near the settings section, so whatever it decided to set itself to, is where I have left it.
I selected the default Maul, chose my home airport, and headed out following I70 west.
This is what I saw, completely smooth and stutter free.

I figured, ok, this looks great for low & slow flying, but I bet the moment I go high & fast, the good times are over with. :-/
So I loaded up the default 737, in mid air, cracked the throttle, pulled back on the stick and climbed a bit then zoomed out and brought up the info text.
It stayed pretty much pegged at 20 the whole time, the exception being when I would swivel the view quickly, then it dropped to 18.

Now, the question is, if it were you, would you look a gift horse in the mouth and start adding stuff, or just be thankful it looks and runs this good, and save the addons for FS9?

Can't decide what to do. :-/
