Eastern Ell Ten Eleven!
(Did this flight in a mid-winter mood
)
Just came back from camp!
On Flight Sim Guide, there now is a download link for the Vistaliners L-1011 Tristar! Intended for FS9, but it was easy to make it work for FSX. I love how Ken Mitchell's panels work in both FS9 & FSX.
Short one hour flight from JFK to YYZ.
"Eastern Flight One, cleared to taxi. Watch out for other pilots jawdropping". The old Rolls Royce RB211s has just been fired up and everything is running smoothly.

"Eastern Flight One, cleared for takeoff. Have a nice flight!" "Cleared for takeoff, Eastern Flight One." Climbing out of John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Climbing over New York. Finally above the heavy snow storms.

During the short cruise at 32,000 feet, I sat there looking at the old gauges and thought about flying during the good old days.. but suddenly, we were told to descend to 22,000, then 14,000, and then 3,000 feet. Here seen at 5,000.

Finally, the L-1011 kisses earth on runway 6R at YYZ. Landing just like an old aircraft should

Packed JUST enough fuel.. as I pulled onto the gate at about 10 knots, I heard the engines go out and saw the old engine gauges go to 0 :O

Hope you enjoyed.. I sure did, flying this lovely old piece of engineering again!
*Hugs Vistaliners Tristar*
