Are you being silly?  'Cause those are normally open on that particular (older) model when the throttles are pushed far enough to dent the dashboard.  Methinks they're a cold air boost somethin' or other.

Thanx!  And it was late after a VERY bad news day, so my detail attention was minimal.....

.....visiting here after simmin' a bit was a bit therapeutic!
