I was watching the planes take off and land, and I saw something curious!

The first 737 pulled out and waited for the 737 that was taxiing, but that one at the same time stoped for the one that was pulling out.

Man FSX ATC absolutely drives me INSANE.

Since I've started learning real ATC procedures and regulations Ive wanted to shove very large objects where the sun don't shine on the FSX controllers.

I should just watch one airspace sometime and count the number of violations. I'm sure if a real ATC made even 1/10 of the errors FSX does he would be fired on the spot.

I think the ATC was something everyone hoped would be improved in FSX, and now the next version.

I was sitting at the end of the runway Honolulu and watched a 747 turn on to a taxiway from the runway, while at the same time a 737 followed by a CJR turned onto the same taxiway from the terminal direction.  They met nose to nose, so I waited to see what would happen.  After about 5 minutes, the 747 simply disappeared.

I didn't know 737s had disintigrator beams .... :P

I remember a screenshot here, I think it was by krigl, and he was going around an airport in a Spitfire (!!!) and suddenly a Seven Four Seven came in front of him ;D

For myself, i've had a few accidents with traffic myself. Like that time I flew an Aloha Airlines 737 from Maui to Honolulu (well.. that was my planned route ::)), and as i'm on final, this stupid JAL 747-300 suddenly gets landing clearance on the same runway as me. So I thought, well, let's get out of the runway quick and it's fine.

Here's the problem: I was flying at 140 knots. He at 160. So when I was seconds from touchdown, he had already landed, and I got the message noone with 3 % of fuel left wants to get: "Aloha 1210, Go around."

So I went into the holding pattern. But they held me there for too long, and when I had 1 % of fuel left, I didn't care about the ATC messages telling me to do so, do that, and just landed on the paralell runway just as a Hawaiian 717 was about to start its takeoff roll. That was a fun adventure.

Cool shot BTW!

This happened to me recently on a LaGuardia Approach!  I kept hearing an engine pitch change, then hit the rearview to see what was up.......I'm the one in the "lead" :o
