My latest fun machine...

Postby Fozzer » Mon Mar 09, 2009 6:09 am

The latest addition to my Hangar, for my short flights from one grassy airstrip to another, to visit my Chums on warm Sunny days...
...the little Pou Microlight...>>>>

FS 2004..as always!...;)...

Leaving Sonoma Skypark (0Q9) over Sonoma Valley (Vineyards below, Joy!)...heading for Petaluma (O69) just over the hill....

Image

...a tail end view, with Petaluma Airfield appearing on my right. (Pacific Ocean visible in the far distance)....

Image

...throttling back, ready for a gentle landing at Petaluma...

Image

Taxied up to the FBO and Fuel Pumps, and being greeted, (as usual), by all the folks admiring my new acquisition...

Image

I am having so much fun in this little beauty, I'm sure it will soon be made illegal... :o...!

..... ;D...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS navigator...and a Bottle of Sonoma Valley's best Wine...what could be nicer!... :-*...!

...my thanks to Homebrewer...>>>

:D ;D

Might as well throw in a heated prop.. heck.. a heated seat and some de-icing boots.. and an inverter, so you can plug the hair-dryer in (to keep your goggles clear while flying in clouds)   ;D

The orange spraycan marks weren't there when I drove for real from Sonoma to Petaluma ten years ago!

Must be a recent addition by the good burgers of Northern California. Road safety, maybe?

Great wine in Sonoma: beats neighbouring Napa hands down...

I agree, I spend plenty of time in both areas and Sonoma does seem to produce the better of the two, although I can't complain about Napa wine either

...they guide me between Napa County and Sonoma County during my daily shopping for their best Wines...so that I don't get lost... ;)...!

(...The orange tracks....actually I think they are a path following the Electricity Pylons in the (Default/VOZ?) scenery)...;)...!

Paul...Hic!... :-[...!

P.S. My local Sainsbury's Superstore stocks both Napa County, and Sonoma County Wines.....
...I support BOTH Counties during my times of need..;).... ;D...!
