A Hurricane and some Lightning

Found a nice little piece on how to capture lightning in the depths of the studioV, thought I would give it a try, also found out about this plane there, and figured I would mess around with some wild angles while I was at it.

BAW0343's Lightning thread: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1153479783

Clipper's thread regarding Photogenic planes: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1152300369

I got the livery (by Lucian Lie) here at SimV,he has a couple here for this one,
but I really had to hunt for the plane itself,
you can find it at *cough*flightsim.com*cough*

I looked at ALL of the major sites, and that was the only one that had AH's Sea Hurricane model.

The package includes just about EVERY Hurricane model there is. ;)

There is some great stuff in the far reaches of the StudioV! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Awesome shots Shane!

Though I wouldn't over compress the shots just to post them in their full glory. I would rather save them to 150 kb and post a link or - even better - add them as a thumbnail.

Compression hurt the first one too much. And that's a shame as it is gorgeous!

Actually, I never compress my shots, The program I've been using for FS9 shots takes them at this size. The quality slider for it is set at 90% and I can't figure out how to get it to move. I use ScreenHunter 5.0
Do you have a better app, I would definitely be willing to give it a try, or should I just use the one I have and capture them as .bmps instead of .jpgs?
Thanks for the tips and the comments. :)

I always capture as BMP and then - using Paint Shop Pro - edit, resize and compress them as JPG.
