As I'm chugging along at 21,000msl in this demon beast of a B337 (posting from a laptop that doubles as a sectional library).. trying to keep 224 spark-plugs from fouling.. and 112 cylinder heads from over-heating.. and four supercharger from melting down... and four carbs from icing up.... trying to figure out where I am by straight-edge and sectional chart, and what little of the ground I can make out through the cloud layer below me....and trying to keep five fuel tanks reasonably balanced....

That C152 and 5 mile visibility, and a relaxing lunch... sure does look appealing

And stick with four wheeled vehicles....

I miss warm weather, and being able to ride my motorcycle.... :'(

Ta for the comments, Chaps... ;)...!

I may be getting paranoid in my Old Age, but after some 10 + years of daily chuffing around California in my (very) small Piston Prop aircraft, I realise that I am get more and more aware of the dangers of adverse weather conditions on my Private, General Aviation flights around the State... :o...!

I am constantly observing changes in Cloud types and heights, wind speed and direction, outside air temperatures and humidity levels...

...and that's even before I take off!... :o... :o... :o...!

Whilst in flight, it occupies a considerable amount of my time, remembering to apply Carburettor heat BEFORE
