Some AC have that as part of their effect, I think.

Too bad they don't have those "artificial Islands" that were built, like the palm islands, and the world islands

Not only when I land

But yes ... they're very common with heavies. And even in FS9.

I like the Burj but the rest of the scenery doesn't look anything like Dubai :-?

Maybe you could try to post a little story of screenshots while you're in Dubai. These seem randomly picked shots which happen to be taken in Dubai ...

Though Dubai isn't the most interesting place on Earth ... well, flying wise that is

Really? It's just from the red breaking sign and the amount of smoke coming from those tyres it looks very much like a bit of early braking, which at touchdown speed is never a good idea

remember....only break when below 60 knots unless you fancy closing the runway for an hour or so and melting the wheels together

Those artificial "Palm Tree" islands would make it a bit more interesting.
