Yes, it looks very good.

I always hate it when people tell you 'great shots' and 'yes, it looks very good', when actually the scenery looks like sh*t.

If anything and before any tweaking ... an F-18 is typically not an aircraft you want to use to explore photoreal scenery. And your shots show it; the scenery looks very blurry. There are probably a lot of tweaks you can do to your system to make those tiles look much better but before that take the Cub out there and make sure you let the tiles load before you take a screenshot.

I also think you should try to learn about compression. You image weight is sometimes less than half of what is allowed and that really is a waste of valuable image quality, especially if Pete so generously gives you serverspace to host your images!

At idle your machine could run circles around mine at full throttle, so you should at least be able to get screenshots of photoreal scenery like this ... probably better.

I am sorry lunitic, I don't mean to be harsh or even burst your bubble but I can't stand untrue honesty. You don't learn anything from that, which just doesn't make you grow as an artist ...

One more tip: don't post screenshots just for the sake of posting. Always ask yourself: "Are these really great? Can I spot blurries? Can those clouds look better? How about the perspective? Is this shot dynamics enough? How's the lighting? Can there be more action in the background? Can I get a better angle on the subject. Have I already tried something I haven't tried before? Or can I create anything better?"

You probably can ...

lunitic,

Harold has always been honest to everyone here and he knows very well what he is doing. he is one of the best artists around here, if not the best, and if I were you.. I'd take advantage of his offer to help. he helped me a few months ago with FS9 and I was absolutely shocked by what the results were from taking all of his advice.

I like the first one although you can see some blurry with the scenery below the mountains.  ;)

Thank you Andy ... that is very kind! And we only discussed add-ons ... we didn't even get technical ;)

Oh wow. I looked more at the mountains in the first one and didn't notice how blurry the second was. Should've examined them better. Don't fret about the negative comments though. Harold's helped me out a lot too over the last year.

Constructive criticism as they call it.
