These shots were from an approach into Tyndall AFB in Panama City, FL. Fog was pretty think, but I thought Id give it a try. Had a missed approach the first time, but the second time around I got it. Sorry, no actual shots of the approach/landing as I was having a hard enough time finding the runway! haha

Most people would ask why you are landing a US Airways A-330 at a military base. Me, on the other hand, know for a fact the commercail airlines do land there. They are landing to transport USAF Civil Engineering personal for training. My team was "lucky" enough to be assigned to a new C-130 unit out of Reno, NV. so we flew the 8 hours in the C-130. Another unit arrived just after us in a Southwest Airline's 737
