The famous London landmark of St Paul's Cathedral, one of Wren's finest creations, is also well known for having survived the Blitz from autumn 1940 to spring 1941.
It survived for nearly 70 years further, until some utter nutcase with a penchant for inverted flying, generally in oversized and utterly unsuitable aeroplanes, flew into it.
..probably alot of emergency laundry being done at st. pauls.........
