For those who like low and slow...

Postby homebrewer » Mon Oct 27, 2008 4:55 pm

Every so often, I like to take a slow "walk" across the sky. I found the Santos Dumont Demoiselle 22 in the Vintage section, Page 93. If you like VCs with lots of visibility, this is the plane for you. Quieter than a buzzy ultralight...

Now that looks like fun! ;) I can't imagine the faith it must have taken to get in one of those things and go flying! :-/ ;D

I took a bunch more of airplanes from another site. I wanted to post them, but the rules say I can't post images from another site. Does that mean I can't post images of airplanes of which I made screenies if the airplane itself was downloaded from another site?

No, you just can't post images linked to another site. ;) The plane can come from anywhere but the image must be uploaded here. :)

That's what I have. I downloaded the planes from another site, unzipped 'em, installed 'em, took 'em up and took some snaps. I read the rules as not being able to show anything that didn't come out of the SimV downloads section. I'm not talking the shots from another site-- the planes just came from there. So I can post my shots of planes that were downloaded-unzipped-installed-flown, then snapped in FS from another site?

What the rules say is that you have to upload the screenshots here. Uploading screenshots to photobucket for example, and linking to the images is against the rules.

Uploading to photobucket is too cumbersome. The upload thingy here is much easier to use. So I take it I can put up my pictures?
