Trying this again...

Postby Anxyous » Tue Sep 09, 2008 11:52 am

HI THERE SIMVIATION!

...

Yeah...

Ok, you guys mighta seen my Only three... topic, where I wrote that FSX went crazy on me, preventing me from grabbing more shots...

So, I thought I'd try the flight again (Mojave - Edwards).

And what better to use than my new awesome Qantas scheme? I just loooooooove Qantas...

Sitting on the tarmac

A few with sun (I like sun in my pics, so what? :P )

A quite nice pic IMO...

My second favourite of the set... comes close to number one

Passing over Edwards

And my favourite of the set...

I like this one, reminds me of something... dunno what

Getting closer to the runway

Taxiing off the runway (if you're wondering why I'm near the beginning of it, it was the shortest taxi off, so I went reverse thrust... I reached like 50 knots or something, before I had to stop :P)
Image

As you see, I'm still experimenting with a new size... what do you think?

Thanks for watching!

:)

I think your shots are too small (800 instead of 1024) and your point of view is most of the times too far away from the plane.

Being far away from the plane can be very good in some case, especially when you have a view that allow the plane not to be in the center of the shot. But in your case this is just the normal centered outside view, so being always at the same distance from the plane can be boring.

Appart from this, your choice of colors and time of flight are very good. I really like this shot:

and this one as well

I guess you have now to concentrate on finding interesting view angles, since evertyhing else is quite good now. Beware of the extreme view angles, since most of the time they are ridiculous !

Hm... I see... I'll try to keep that in mind for next time...

Thanks! Not often someone speaks their mind...

I like the color and sky in those pics.

I must agree, a little closer to the plane shots would be even nicer
