The Harrier is from UKMIL, im sure i found it here at SIMV, theres an fs9 version, and an fsx version. I found it by typing 'Sea Harrier' ito the search thing i think!
Its certainly not brilliant, and my shot maybe makes it look better than it really is......
Doesnt really hover that well either....but i wasnt concerned about that really, i just wanted a Sea Harrier!
Could do with a really detailed paint job, that would sure spruce it up, but looking at the .bmps, i wouldnt know where to start, looks a bit of a mess to be honest!!
There used to be one on a ski ramp at Yeovilton Air museum, incredible to see close up, but i dont know wether its still there. They had the Kestrel (the harriers 'prototype' if you like) there as well. Its always been one of my favorites, i think looks wise for a military aircraft its up there with the spitfire, in SHAR form anyway.
Plus its British, and according to a book i was reading by a bloke who commanded a squadron down in the falklands (Nigel Ward i think hes called) theres not a lot that can take on a well flown SHAR, as many american plots found out when they took some over for those 'meets' that they do!!!
Fantastic aircraft, shame its now gone from our Navy :-/
