Mission shots

Postby gtirob01 » Sun Aug 31, 2008 11:53 am

Felt like flying some of the missions, without actually doing the mission! haha. Came up with some pretty cool looking shots in the process.

This one, Im not sure what was going on, but that explosion made me crash! This was from the Edwards tactical approach mission.

The next 2 were from the monsoon landing in Singapore mission.

Explosion scared you a bit huh. I haven't done that mission, but now I just may have to. Neat shots.

So thats the default 747 in fsx???? Im suprised! Looks a lot better than the excuse for a 747 in fs9!!!

I dont know wether my PC can handle it but it may well be worth a purchase, the missions sound quite interesting :D

Yes, I have to admit that most of the FSX default planes are almost payware-quality, especially the Maule, the Goose and the Beaver. The Baron, the C-172 and the Learjet look quite good as well and their cockpits are nicely detailled.

The Boeing planes, though, are among the less-detailled ones. The exterior model is quite good and the VC looks fantastic, but still there's not so much stuff to click inside, just like in FS9... :/

The missions are awesome. They bring some kind of scenario around your flying job. A lot of those missions contain surprises, unexpected stuff, funny situations etc... but some of those missions are really difficult, and requiere a good control and precision of flight.

Yup, as in the monsoon mission. Your flying blind. relying on ATC to inform you, and also relying on your gauges. Not an easy landing. I came in too high the first time, and luckily had enough fuel to come back around and made the landing you see above!

As for the first one, it didnt scare me the explosion, it sent me into a nosedive!
