Postby todayshorse » Tue Aug 26, 2008 11:45 am

Sorry for the title, but heres my entry.

Struggled with this theme a little, and although personaly i love this shot, im not quite sure it has the ingredients required, as you cant see all of the aircraft! But anyhoo, enter it i will..!

'Panhandle Scandal....!'

'Panhandle Scandal' was a Woody short from way back when and the name caught my attention for some reason!

Aircraft is from POSKY, along with the repaint...'Woody Woodpecker ANA' although its on AVSIM also.

Thanks for looking, and good luck to all :)

Love this shot, I disagree with the notion of not cutting off aircraft, sometimes it's just needed in order to get that dramatic shot, yours is a perfect example! ;)

Thanks guys! Appreciated. Was a little worried it wasnt really the right shot for this contest - but there you go!

I do beleive in chopping up aircraft for the right shot however - although i know its sometimes frowned upon (wheres Harold these days  ;D)

Not chopping willy nilly and by mistake certainly (as often happens using spot view if your not careful) But for the detail i wanted, and the crispness, i dont think it would have worked any other way!
