Looks... edited?

Did you record a plane, viewed as AI, flew next to it, recorded and repeated?

I will take that as a compliment ;D

Yes, that's exactly what i did. (I used the slew mode to get the planes into position.) ;)

How did you get the planes into position with slew, without having the other planes move?

Traffic Explorer?

Amazing! I struggle to get 4 or more in a shot, so thats quite somthing!!

I use slew mode, but i usualy lose the exhaust trails and stuff, no matter what i do - but i dont fly 'alongside' myself, so i guess that might be it!

Actually none of the planes is moving. I stopped each plane at it's positon and recorded it after that.

Adding the smoke effect is quite easy:
as the planes don't move, the smoke effects appear as little clouds behind the planes.

Amazing work you put in this shot. This definitely needs to go into the StudioV tutorials section.

Care to post a detailed explanation in StudioV? :o

:-?Just curious, how do you record more than 2 planes? I record my first and then play back as traffic and record again while recording traffic, but when I go to play that video my first 'traffic' plane is gone and I have the plane that was recorded last? Thanx again for the awsome tips! ;D

Each aircraft has to be recorded to a seperate file. Then you have to play back all files together. (press Shift or Ctrl to select multiple files from the file selection dialog)

Check out this page for more information.

Try checking the 'Record AI' box in the recording menu.
