this aircraft has been dubbed "the ugly duckling" of the QANTAS fleet, however i will be reluctant in using that nickname from now on!!! a great shot, and i think the blue goes well with the fog.

That shot brings a great deal of nostalgia. This beautiful bird has been retired, stripped and repainted for the SAS to practice their aircraft raids on at Avalon airport.

Also, come December we will never see a 747-300 in Qantas colours in the skies again. A magnificent aircraft that has served her time well.

Yes it's a beautiful aircraft, to be replaced by *sighs* A330's. :(

I wonder if we will see anymore Aboriginal liveries on, perhaps, A380 or 787?
