Yup, was quite a day for spotting in my area. These shots are meant to depict what I saw today.... not to be artsy or anything. All shots were taken in about the same location, and time as when I saw them.

First off.... was on my way to work, turned the corner that goes right under the path for runway 12 @ Eglin AFB and saw this come out from over the trees.

Then later at my work, heard a loud noise coming closer... stepped outside to see what it was and saw this at what couldnt have been any more than 1500 ft!

Then on my way home from class tonight... was just crusing down the road and I happened to glance towards the sunset and saw this guy

Not a bad day of seeing different things flying around! Keep in mind... these sighting actually happened today, I just didnt have a camera to capture them. So I did it this way.

And one more just cause I liked the way the clouds looked

Man, i envy you! Where i live i get the remants of stuff going into Humberside Airport, it seems the let down to the approach sometimes wanders over our village.

Maybe the odd GA, like a Cessna or somthing, then maybe the odd RAF jet streaking along the trent river, hear them, but never get there fast enough to see it! Just smoke trails....Once had a Harrier waggle its wings at me near humberside airport , man he was travelling and barely above the telephone lines!

Great way to capture these events though! Id do the same, but theyd be distant specs or empty skies ;D

Yea, this is a huge USAF area. You will see just about any AF plane flying around. Have even seen some British Tornados fly over. I didnt see it, but I was told the NASA shuttle carrier landed @ Eglin on its way to the cape to drop off the shuttle.

Yea, and in just a few years... Eglin becomes one of the main training bases for the F-35!
