The fleet commander told me we were to leave for Madagascar tonight and that I will have to visit family for the afternoon and not the following day as planned. Told me I must get ready to go visit them and be back before nightfall.


Man, the moment when your A$$ bumps into your brain for a few split seconds as you launch.


Getting ready to climb, heading North West to Richardsbay FARB. Short 10 min flight.


Landed at FARB, the Dash 8 just landed after me. Bet the passengers must be extactic seeing a F18 at the local airport. Time to go visit family and head back tonight.

How nice of the commander to let you borrow a multi-million dollar aircraft for family visits. I wish my boss was that cool... :-/
