Departing at sunset

Departing from KBOS at sunset efore the storm arrives.






I used FS Recorder for the 757 and I took the wright bros. plane and slewed into postion for the shot..."a cheep way of getting a great angle w/ out buying  walk and follow or active camera I think"!

Aye ... indeed a nice shot. I like those soft tones but indeed the anti aliasing could've been better.

The scenery in the lower left corner is a nice detail

how do I fix my AA? I have no clue on how to do this.

You can do this by moving antialiasing slider in settings window

I have the same question as bartender. But mine is all the way to the right. and Im using a 8800GT

Than,you can try moving texture quality slider or other sliders. Just make some tests. If nothing helps,try updating driver. Good luck!

You NEVER set you anti aliasing in your sim. You ALWAYS set it on your video card.

All depends on your videocard, but you should be able to reach your videocard's control panel via your main control panel - display - settings tab - advanced tab.
There you should see a tab with your video card's logo. In that tab you can change the settings of your videocard.

I can also highly recommend that you read Nick Needham's tread on Windows Setup, System Optimizing and Drivers.

Sorry if I said something wrong,but default nVidia control panel AA settings set to "let 3D program decide".Does this mean that FSX sliders can be used to set AA settings in sim?

Yes and no ... if you use the 'let the program decide' setting you are telling your video card to take a holiday as the sim will be using software rendered anti aliasing to smoothen your images. This will put a lot of strain on your system and you should have your videocard handle that; its what you bought it for in the first place ... especially if you bought a $500 8800 something.

Always have your card handle stuff like that, it is what it is designed to do best

It is still a nice shot, I like the cityscape below, personally I think if you took the shot with the sun to your back it would reveal some more detail on the AC.
