The excellent Russian freeware traffic that I used is available here:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sergs.skj/ ... wnload.htm

It has numerous airlines and will really fill up your eastern skies!!

Thanks for the comments!

YAHOO!! Got em fired up!

now I have get rid of the default planes that are still showing, how do I do that?

nevermind, got that figured out, assign his Russian aircraft an aircraft number in TTools, then go through the airport flights in flightplans
and replace default aircraft with Russian aircraft

yes?

or is there an easier way??

Hi Ivan,

Yeah, I kind of figured that SKJ is outdated since it has been out for a while, but it gives a nice variety of Russian planes and traffic with an extremely simple install. Don't worry though, I use a few of the RATS traffic stuff as well....it just takes longer to track everything down and install properly!  ;) (On a side note, have you guys ever considered creating automatic installers that cover all of the airlines in any of these particular categories? I'm sure that would get a lot of people's attention, and would enticing be to simmers not familiar with adding traffic: http://trafficsystem.ru/projectseng.htm)  ;)

Allen,

In your Scenery/World/Scenery folder, there should be a traffic bgl that says traffic030528.bgl or some random series of numbers. This is the microsoft default traffic file. What you can do is delete that, thus clearing all default airlines and GA, and if you want just the GA (general aviation) back, you can do a search for a replacement at any major flightsim site. I use worldga.zip available at Avsim.
For more Russian AI, go here Allen: http://trafficsystem.ru/fileseng.html

@Sean: use the GA-Traffic util for general aviation... that one auto-generates a load of cessnas for you

Thanks Ivan, forgot about that program. Now to load up some small russian GA aircraft and clear the air of the western influences!  ;D

Oh, and I just found the RATS installer as well as the MRAI installer on your site, and will be experimenting with those shortly.

Well I won't delete that because I don't intend to exclusively fly in Russia

where did you FIND the installers, and if I may ask, WHY did you have to find them?

The step bu step downloads from SKJ ACTIVEAITRAFFIC SYSTEM was perfect for idiots such as myself, I think I'll stick with them

Found it here but could not get it to work right....so I'm just sticking with the SKJ myself too, and maybe installing a RATS package manually every now and then. http://www.trafficsystem.ru/forum/index ... wtopic=416
