I'm not a big fan of the DC-3, but i must admit that it is probably the greatest transport ever made.

good looking shot....i believe there were C-47's.
The C-47 was a wartime conversion of the original DC-3 design with strengthened floor, large cargo doors and other modifications. Over 10,000 were built.  Many of these were later converted for both passenger and cargo use with commercial airlines all over the world

Sorry mate, easy mistake to make if you don't know commercial numbers. FYI, the DC9 is a twin engined jet still flying today. You may know it's decendant which uses a longer fuselage, the MD-80 or 'MadDog'.

eh it was my fault I know thye had a DC-8 liner it hought it was a DC-8, 10,11

Pretty good... a couple of pointers would be to try to get rid of the text on the left hand side, to zoom in a bit more on the aircraft and to try to show a bit less of that ground, which is a bit flat and boring. I do still like it though...

P.S. the spitfire is the best plane in aviation history, period. (joke, I don't mean to be immature - its just my favourite, as you can probably tell).

ahhhh the mighty vulcan... I do love it indeed... just not as much as the spit.

Spit and Vulcan are also very important and great planes in history of aviation,but DC-3 still flyes at 21th century and can be used in training,cargo,passanger,fun,military etc,thats why for me it is THE BEST 8-) That was just quick shot  ;)
