Taking up the goose

Postby Gunny04 » Wed Dec 05, 2007 5:08 pm

Well I havent posted a screenshot in ages, so with that new shiny EVGA 8800GTS 640MB sitting in my computer I decided to take up a flight. Since Acceleration was giving me problems I uninstalled it and had to boot all the payware out (Wasnt working) I have a massive reinstall ahead, In any case here are some test shots with Max clouds, medium scenery settings, Max water and max texture size etc etc, Basically set to medium high!

Remember, I said test shots, so no screaming about the frames and all the junk being in the screen, I wasnt originally planning on posting these. In any case Enjoy, Gunny

No shouting from here. However...
I think the quality is a bit disappointing for all settings high.
Have a talk with Ashar, he has a book of tricks for sharpening up your sim.
Otherwise, I think cranking up the screen resolution and putting
Anti-Aliasing/Anisotropic to 16X/8Xs would work great.
