Two for Wednesday night

Postby ThomasKaira » Thu Oct 18, 2007 12:10 am

La Guardia, this is the smallest airport in the New York area, with her big brother, John F Kennedy International, just a few miles south of her. This is where all the small planes are sent. Be forewarned, landing here takes a lot of practice, as the runways are EXTREMELY short. At this airport, don't bother trying to make the landing nice and flashy, just get those wheels on the ground (or off it) ASAP. ;)

La Guardia, although the smallest airport, is without a doubt the most scenic of the three, you are right next door to the City that Never Sleeps, and that makes for some VERY nice photography, should you get a good position...

My arrival in La Guardia in New York went nice and smooth, and now, we taxi up to our gate, in the lousy weather, that actually makes for some picture-perfect moments. ;)

Really liking that background in the first. Nicely composed set, Jet.
