Departure from Frankfurt-Main

This is indeed my current flight, as seen (always) in my signature, along with a picture of the plane I am flying, and *the hours I've spent flying in the Boeing family.

*update!

Currently, the plane is the Boeing 767-400. A rare bird, and there are only two airliners flying them (Delta and Continental). You may be aware that the Boeing 767 is my current most flown aircraft, and my first payware package will likely be one of these. Anyway, after recieving my permission to taxi, we look out to the gates to see what is happening, not much, but we do have a rather large number of Lufthansa birds.

A surprise guest is coming in for a landing today, a US Airways 767. Notice the differences between the two models?

Nice, routine takeoff. Notice the jet effects behind me...

Next up shall be my arrival...

Cheers! ;)

Excellent, but you need to get the Frankfurt scenery by Aerosoft...And yes, the 767-400 is quite long.... 8-)

I looked for a while for something decent.

Might you be able to point me to that one?

Excellent shots and great angle!  I prefer the 763 myself tho, the 764 is too high tech for me  :D

There's a freeware scenery out there. It can not compete with the aerosoft one, but hey, it's free!

It's "am_eddf_11.zip " on avsim by Hans-Werner Mertens and Georg Aubele.

Cheers,
Fabian
