Now that is an interesting A/C. Nice shots!

1st one looks very good, gives an interesting angle on that unusual ac.

And you've beautiful looking water textures.

that A/C always puzzles me... why dont you either have an engine on both wings... or just one engine?

It's that mad Rutan plane!!  :D

Cool....first is a nice one, and it does look a bit P-38 - ish....

Rutan's aim was to design a twin, and this arrangement allows you to have the engines closer together than is normally the case in a twin, allowing much better single-engine manners. It also shaves a lot of weight off, and minimizes drag.
This required some rule-breaking, and in typical style Rutan ignored the rules and just investigated the potential of an asymmetric design. Turns out it flies great! His use of a laptop as the center of the instrument and control suite is also very interesting.

This is a very cool FS model... flies really well, and really fast!

You would have thought that the aeroplane would have been unbalanced weight-wise depending on remaining fuel/passengers and cargo... :-/

I guess they have to counterweight the left-hand engine nacelle or something; or think of a way of providing more lift on the right-hand-side....
