Awesome shots.

Think so? They're not bad but I wouldn't call them awesome.

Tastes differ apparently but I think they're over compressed and bit boring; there's nothing going on in these shots. No story just an aircraft (which is nice though) at 20K+ feet.

Still I like the angle and view of the last one ... makes you stare into the distance and think where she's going ;)

I think it is best explained in this thread

I didn't mean what you think I meant Chip. I just like to see some kind of logical sequence to tell a little story ...

hello again harold. i read that thread as i was unsure what ive been doing with this compressed thingy. i use irfanview. once i have taken the screen shot it saves as about 3mb. i then change it to jpeg. then resize to 600 x 800. then when i save i have to slide the quality bar down till it reaches under 100kb. i usually get around 98 or 99 kb. you said they should be as close to 100 kb as possible. i cant seem to get any closer to it. i dont know  much else that i can do.

I think that is where you go wrong ... the last thing you should do is save as jpg. Do everything you need to do to the shot in the BMP format.

Although it seems to be a decent tool, I'm not a fan of Irfanview, but I think that is mainly because I've been using Paintshop Pro for so long. I'm starting to learn Photoshop bit by bit but I think Paintshop Pro is a lot easier ...

See if you can get either Paintshop Pro or Photoshop somewhere. I don't use any of the freeware alternatives but I hear that Paint.NET or The Gimp are reasonably good alternatives to the aforementioned tools. Good image editing software will make editing and saving shots more 'specialized'.

Good luck! And if you need anything please do not hesitate to 'call' me!
