Pappy's first entry ever

Postby Pappy44 » Fri Aug 31, 2007 9:30 am

Ok, I know it doesn't show off the plane, but I wanted to get a different view of the St. Louis Airshow held every year around the 4th of July.

This Harrier breaks a few laws, but makes a great pic as it hovers underneath the Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.  The Channel 5 News Helicopter took this shot...

I don't think this shot will be qualifying :-X

It has to be from a ground spectators point of view; not an aerial view.

Sure, I get the idea that it is viewed from a helicopter but that still doesn't make it legal i'm afraid. If that were allowed, we'd have shots at all sorts of altitudes, 'as seen from another aircraft'.

It's supposed to be from a ground spectators perspective, the highest allowed is from the roof of a building.
