Fabian's guide to giant moons.

1st step: Take off and fly over the clouds

2nd: fly over the clouds and search for moon

3rd: zoom slightly in and look for moon

4th: Zoom in heavy
Image

5th move away from aircraft (scroll wheel when using F1view) and keep track of the moon

should be moved to the studio but oh well ::) Not only a nice tutorial but an excellent choice of aircraft Fab! I love a Commando 8-)

Very nice shots, I  particularly like the first one actually, great colours. But a handy mini-tute too, and HK's right, good for  the Studio, so I've taken the liberty of posting a copy there....hope that's okay  :)

Yep, same boat. Not sure how to zoom back out (what is F1 view?) without shrinking the moon as well.... :-/ :-/

F1View is a powerful freeware program to move around the views similar to the payware "Walk & Follow". (for FS9). "Wheelcam" would be the FSX pendant.

Try it and you'll see what I meant. Scroll wheel adjusts the distance to aircraft in axternal view. This is a must have addon. Also a very comfotable way to move around the VC / virtual cabins...
