Red arrows training

Had a great idea for some shots, and the shots followed. So heres the story:

I put myself in the shoes of an RAF trainer, with a recruit who was about to do his first solo to get flying.

So he strapped himself in. I got this shot just as he shut the door and locked himself in.
Good luck.

Then got another, just as he took off, bit dodgy, but it was windy ::) ::)

I then instructed over the radio i wanted an inverted with a good holding of level upside down flight. Just keeps them on their feet, requires skill to keep it level upside down.
Image

Then, he had to sucsessfully do a low flypast. I got this classic airshow shot i reckon, set tower height to 6ft! Nice flypast, level, smoke on, wings level.
Image

I then ran one hell of a long way, to the end of the runway to get a shot for him of his landing, but it probably wasnt worth it, his final approach was a tad dodgy, very to the left of centre. Not impressed.

At least he made it back in safely, was suitably impresssed to issue his certificate to fly with the Arrows

hope you enjoyed my terrible story telling! C and C welcome

Yeh, number 6 really has that airshow spectator view feel to it!  :)

Could have done with some clouds though to add to the atmosphere of the shot (No pun intended)  :P
