Tonight's landing: A320 at Raisi

It was a nice morning, and I was coming in with a tailwind and VERY slight crosswind, so the landing was not tough at all.


Raisi Airport is located right next to a very scenic mountain, and the challenge (albeit not great) is trying not to hit it.


Everything is going according to plan, we almost have our feet on (not that) solid asphalt


Down on the runway. Slightly off center, but the sheer softness of the landing more then made up for it.


There's that mountain again. What a sight.


And here we are, parked at the gate with an EasyJet A319 taxiing out to the surprisingly bumpy (don't know why) runway at Raisi.

I like the second one. It has that exciting 'coming in to land' feel ... nice capture

The rest (apart from #3) just seem to have too much mountain in them and I find it too distracting.
If you would've tilted the camera a little up the shot would not only have less grass in it but it would also give that mountain a little more air ...
